As per the recent statement from Superintendent of Police S Ibomcha Singh, three Rohingyas have been arrested for illegally entering India from Myanmar.
Ibomcha Singh further said that a joint team of police and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers arrested them from the town of Moreh in Tengnoupal district. Friday night, this joint mission was done near the Indo-Myanmar border. These three are residents of Baguna in the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
Rakhine state is the area where thousands of Rohingyas have been killed. Also, hundreds of thousands have been forced to flee to other countries like Bangladesh, India and China.
