Anti-Smuggling Unit of Customs Division, Imphal seized 30 gold biscuits worth of Rs 1.5 crore from one alleged smuggler at Khurai Lamlong Bazar in Imphal East district.
Assistant Commissioner Rajkumar Darendrajit Singh shared with media that the accused has been identified as Md Yasin of Sangai Yumpham, Thoubal district, Manipur. We got tip regarding this and we have been keeping vigilant for the last four days to trace the smuggler.
Now, the team is working on further investigations to find out whether the accused has associates or not.
