One Government High School at Molkon in Saikul Sub Division of Kangpokpi District is now closed due to lack of teachers. Education Department of Manipur had insufficiently provided teachers for this area’s schools.
Kuki Students’ Organization Saikul provided a data fetched from the office of Deputy Inspector of Schools, Saikul. There are 309 sanctioned posts of teachers for 57 schools. Out of these 309 sanctioned posts, only 254 posts were occupied.
