Yesterday, four Rohingyas were arrested in Morehtown. It is an incident near the Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district. There were three aged men and one woman. These four were arrested for entering the country illegally without any travel document.
Superintendent of Police A Ibomcha Singh said, “We found that they are not having any document related to their travel to India. A case has been registered against these four Rohingyas.”
After the strict guidelines from Home Ministry, police in the areas near to India Myanmar border had strictly checked for illegal entries.
