The Origin’s survey says that a young adult is now no more interested in the social networking websites in the United States. In the recent market research, it has been revealed that young people reaching his/her adulthood in this time of early 21st century are actually seeking relief from social media. And, over 50 percent participates in that survey has said this fact. Not just this, 34 percent out of these participates has actually deleted their accounts over named social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even also from dating app Tinder. These results are of The Origin’s survey conducted in the last December. Well, Snapchat is still attracting young minds and exists in their tabs and cell phones.
The outcome of this survey says that many respondents were using social media sites in various other aspects of their lives. 65 percent had been following brand profiles and around 43 percent said that they had done online shopping through it too.
The survey report has also shown that people are using it for buying products. This participation is especially from the people born after 1994 or later. Over half of these participates had purchased online due to the social media feed having product advertisement. Among the 1000 Gen Z, 57 percent of them said celebrity endorsements helped them in deciding about a purchase.
However, nearly 41 percent young respondents said it was quite waste of time for them.
