On Tuesday, one passenger of a Vistara flight raised a complaint of having a cockroach in his food. However, concerned officials from the airline rejected such claim.
This passenger brought this issue in public over Twitter alleging that he spotted a cockroach in his food. In its reply, the airline claimed that we are fumigating the aircraft regularly and no insect was in the meal.
This complaint of the passenger gone viral over Twitter and after a series of tweets, the airline apologized and tweeted that despite regular fumigation, insects still find a way in and we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Airline officials stated that doors of an aeroplane are opened regularly on the ground; insects can sometimes still find a way.
