It has been one year of BJP government in Manipur. Yesterday, Bharatiya Janata Party, Manipur Pradesh observed the one year of governance in the state. Also, they distributed essential items at children homes and old aged homes as part of this observance activity.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh was himself present in the old aged home, Mongsangei. Addressing the present crowd at this old aged home, Chief Minister said that it is our first priority that we first support people in their survival those are living in such children homes and old aged homes.
Yesterday, various schemes for old aged persons were also launched by the government. Also, the upgraded old aged pension was set to the amount of Rs 1000 in Manipur state. Chief Minister also promised that other required facilities in such homes will be made available as soon as possible so that people in such homes can fulfil their needs.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh also asked to send a written request about the needed support from the government for such old aged homes. He suggested that this should be submitted in written to your local MLA and appointed Minister will take necessary steps to fulfil the requirement.
Chief Minister, Manipur also distributed needed items to the children of Tera Children Home.
Yesterday, a grand celebration was held at Head Office, BJP Manipur Pradesh. Several volunteers from across the state were gathered at Keishampat Nityapat Chuthek to celebrate the one year completion of BJP government in the state.
