Perhaps, residents in big cities are not facing it. But, small cities and rural areas are having cash crunch condition. Some areas in Bundelkhand, the situation is far from satisfactory. A large number of ATMs are reportedly having no cash in Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh,  and Tikamgarh districts for past three to seven days.
In Sagar, divisional headquarters of Bundelkhand for the state, 125 out of 140 ATMs ran out of cash for three days.
Vinay Jain, a trader said, “Certainly, business is affected as ATMs don’t have money and the swipe machines don’t work properly. This is also happening with private sector bank.
On Saturday, ATMs were not functioning at Civil Lines, Katra, Gopalganj and Makronia in Sagar city.
