Due to the lack of proper documents, the Immigration office of ICP at Moreh asked three Myanmar nationals to return back by leaving the team of 30 members who were coming to take part in the Indian Asian Friendship Car Rally. This Car Rally is scheduled to be held on September 12 at Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
There were 27 Thai and three Myanmarese individuals in this team. As per available reports, this team waited for the whole day at the ICP office to get a proper entry for the entire team from the Indian officials.
The Myanmarese delegates expressed their unhappiness and disappointment questioning how India and Myanmar can build friendship when a traveller who has all the remaining documents, is not allowed to enter one country over some mistake regarding E Visa.
Other 27 Thai nationals have moved forward with 11 vehicles in the evening.
