Yesterday, a class X student was found hung to death at a hall of a Private Hostel, Shilhenba Coaching Centre, at Wairi Tanky Pareng. The deceased was found hung to death at around 4.30 am. The warden of the hostel, Naorem Ranjoy informed police about this incident.
A police team led by SP Kakching Y.Victoria along with forensic team conducted an investigation. The deceased was identified as Saleibam Ramjit Singh (17) son of S.Bishorjit of Wabagai Thambal Chingya in kaching district.
Saleibam Ramjit Singh was a class X student of Padma Ratna English School Kakching. The dead body of the boy has been deposited at JNIMS morgue for conducting an autopsy.
