The Extra-Judicial Execution Victim Families Association (EEVFAM) case was heard in court number 3 of the Supreme Court of India today afternoon
Yesterday, the Supreme Court of India was hearing the Extra-Judicial Execution Victim Families Association (EEVFAM) case. This time also, the CBI shared some sort of pending work and asked for the time.
In court number 3, CBI shared that it needs four more weeks’ time to file the ‘Final Report’ of the four cases that they claimed to have completed investigations.
Hearing this, the Judges got furious and counted it as a pattern of delaying tactics and consistent non-compliance of their orders. Now, the CBI director has been summoned to the Court at 2.00 PM on July 30. Judges have mentioned that enough time has been wasted hoping that the CBI will deliver justice, but they have failed to comply with the orders.
The next hearing will be on Monday.
