Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Ashwini Kumar Choubey shared that Central Government will work to set up yoga centres in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) across the country. On Saturday, He was speaking at a conference in New Delhi held by the Merchant’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Union Minister of State told that this decision was taken on the basis of a survey conducted at AIIMS, New Delhi, on the effect of yoga on patients after surgery. He further added that one year-long survey was done on 4,100 patients.
Minister Mr Choubey also informed the gathering about the outbreak of Nipah virus in Kerala. He said that it had not turned into an epidemic and there are no more fresh cases.
