As per KSO, this college is having a 27 years history of making futures and it has magnificent infrastructure too. No doubt, it has true potential and deserves to be in the government college category. This one is the only college in Tengnoupal district. Meanwhile, the Hill Tribal Council, Moreh has also expressed disappointment over the decision of not including Moreh College among this list of six colleges. During its meeting held on March 29, the council has decided that a stringent agitation will be held in this scenario. To avoid this, state cabinet must convert Moreh College into a full-fledged government college in April.
The Hill Tribal Council has also released a press release. This document having signs of general secretary and vice president of the council shared that the council understands the value of this college. This college was established in 1993. It fulfils all the necessary criteria factors. Hence, state government must have thought about its conversion into a full-fledged government college. The council has counted this action of the state government as a step-motherly treatment. State Government should have noticed the existing well-furnished classrooms, well combed location and great infrastructure of this college.
