It is a proud moment for every Northeastern citizen as two of our own from Northeast India receives special mention in Forbes India ’30 Under 30’ list. The two shining stars are Shiroi Lily Shaiza, currently the Managing Director of ASPORA Nagaland and Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem, the first choice U-17 Indian goalkeeper.
Shiroi Lily Shazia belongs to Nagaland itself and is an alumnus of Symbiosis International, Pune. She is an excellent entrepreneur and an ideal personality, receiving her honorable mention because of her impeccable work in NGO and Social Entrepreneurship. She also works as an advisor at Entrepreneur Associates and was featured in this year’s Forbes list described as ‘an achiever who narrowly missed out making it to the final 30’.
The Aspora Nagaland is a social enterprise initiated by EA in the year 2000. The main objective of Aspora is to promote entrepreneurship, develop financial accessibility and to create innovative livelihoods in the Indian states of Nagaland and Manipur. Located in Nagaland, Aspora is registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs and has been empowering the local communities there through the method of livestock farming.
On the other hand, the popular Indian teenager, Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem is a professional footballer. Dheeraj is the first choice Indian goalkeeper with an already established career ahead. He is strong, determined and highly talented. Currently being a free agent, Dheeraj is giving trials for different European football clubs such as Motherwell. It is a great achievement for this young man to make it to the Forbes list at this very young age.
