On Sunday, Actor turned politician Rajinikanth tweeted in support of the One-Nation-One-Election theory. The renowned Tamil actor said, “I support One Nation One Election. This will save money and time.”
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also came supported this theory and stated that there will be a need of consensus, before implementing this theory and it may take time even till 2024.
Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had earlier stated that simultaneous polls will save public money and it will also bring stability in the electoral process. Frequent elections lead to various sorts of extra expenses. He cited many benefits of One Nation One Theory scheme and hope for positive recommendations of law commission regarding its implementation.
And now, Tamil superstar is also appreciating this new approach to stabilizing the electoral process.
