Education minister Thokchom Radheshyam has declared HSLC result on Friday evening in Imphal.
The pass percentage in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) is 73.18. This year, it is recorded as the highest figure in this decade. Last year, it was around 67 percent. In 2013, it was recorded around 72 percent. Yes, it could be seen as a sign of step progress in the education sector of Manipur.
Education minister Thokchom Radheshyam has given his heartiest congratulation to teachers, students and their parents for this recorded figure. He also attributed this superb pass percentage to better law and order condition. Radheshyam thanked the people of the state for their cooperation.
The minister further said that out of the 37,351 candidates enrolled, 37,064 appeared in the HSLC examination and 27,126 cleared it.
