Nothing can stop her to achieve her dream to fly fighter planes. This 24 years old, daughter of a tea seller from Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, Aanchal Gangwal has got a place in the flying branch of the Indian Air Force. Aanchal told in an interview that she was highly impressed with the way the armed forces rescued people in flood-affected areas in Uttarakhand.
Certainly, her family was not ready for this. But, she never gave up her dream. This 5 foot 7 inches young girl was superb in sports and academics too. She studied in Metro H S School Neemuch and got a scholarship there to be capable of joining Vikram University, Ujjain.
Prior to this success in IAF exam, she was selected in the police sub-inspectors exam too. But her dream was to be in India Forces and clearing the Air Force Common Admission Test was not easy. Over the years she faced this interview board five times and was only successful the sixth time, whose results were declared on June 7.
Her father, Suresh who runs a tea stall at the Neemuch bus stand stands a proud man when she was congratulated by CM too. She was among the 22 selected from all over the country and the only one from Madhya Pradesh.
