The central government has decided to go for ordinance about the death penalty for people convicted of raping girls under 12. Considering an outrage over the rape in UP and also, brutal killing of an 8-year-old girl in Jammu-Kashmir, BJP led government has taken this decision. Press Trust of India has reported that one such ordinance is being sent to The President for approval. After approval, it should be pass in the Parliament within six months in the order they become law.
