Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy had inducted 25 new ministers on June 6, including those from his party JD(S), Congress, BSP, and the fledgeling KPJP. On Friday night, he allocated portfolios but it has left some upset including GT Devegowda and CS Puttaraju.
GT Devegowda had defeated former chief minister Siddaramaiah in Chamundeshwari constituency in Mysuru. Thus, was said to be eyeing key portfolios. Later on, he was allocated over the higher education portfolio. This act has given birth to several questions especially when the qualification of this minister is just 8th Pass.
In yesterday’s press meet, chief minister dismissed questions on allocating the higher education portfolio to a minister who has studied till class 8. He stunned everyone by giving this sort of response to this question, “What have I studied? I’m working as the chief minister”
Well, chief minister Kumaraswamy holds a B.Sc degree and retained the key finance department, as also energy with him, while giving home to his deputy G Parameshwara of the Congress.
Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy is now in a big mess as he needs to make a remarkable balance with the Congress Party.
