Incident of racial abuse and violent attack over the 12 youths from Manipur has been strongly condemned by Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh. These youths were travelling in a train from New Delhi to Guwahati.
CM has asked the Union home minister Rajnath Singh to look after the case and also to take appropriate action regarding this unfortunate incident. As per the recent statement from CM office, he had also suggested to issue directive to railway authority to prevent furthermore assault with North-East people.
The chief minister also apprised the Union railways minister for having appropriate action in this regard. Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh also appealed to the general public for informing the government in time regarding such incidents as this will help the state government to initiate timely action.
