Everyone has witnessed the success of a school dropout from Chandigarh. Trishneet Arora is the name of this boy who is now a cyber security expert. He got his name in the Forbes ‘30 under 30’ Asia 2018 list. In just 25 years of age, he made it possible in the category of Enterprise Technology. This list is of innovators and disruptors who are innovating in their respective industries and changing the fate of Asia.
Trishneet Arora is the founder and CEO of TAC Security. He is also the author of many books. TAC Security is based in Mohali. This cyber-security company performs vulnerability assessment for companies, identifying weaknesses in their cyber security.
His spokesperson shared with Media about this achievement of this young entrepreneur. He further told that last year, Trishneet was also been named among the 50 Most Influential Young Indians by GQ Magazine. As the supporter of his innovative skills, renowned investor Vijay Kedia and former vice-president of IBM, William May have always been with him.
In an article published about this young entrepreneur last year, author narrated that his CV reads far from perfect. After facing failure in Class 8 exams, he was almost hopeless about his future. Well, he tried to clear class 12 by adopting distance education mode and failed again in this attempt too.  Trishneet told that he was never a boy dedicated to studies. He was simply a backbencher and loved to tease others. He kept his parents on their toes.
This youngest ethical hacker was just 19 and he decided to start his cyber security company. TAC Security was launched in 2013. As per Trishneet Arora, hacking is an art. No doubt, one can misuse his skill and go to jail. It is certainly on your choice. He also shared that I had an instinct for tech in my early childhood period. I am just eight and dismantled my father’s computer. When that computer was taken to a mechanic shop, I accompanied my father and observed the work. This fascinated me and I started putting effort to understand hardware and software. Trishneet Arora had mentioned all this to the author of that article. About cyber security and its business in India, Trishneet Arora said that here, we can see a rapidly growing focus on the digital environment in organizations. Now, big names are actually reaching out to ‘ethical hackers’ for having secured defence systems in their companies. As per industry data, India will be in need of at least 1,000 cyber security startups by 2020. Going forward, the demand for cyber security services will only increase.
TAC Security has big clients like Reliance Industries, Avon Cycles, Ralco Tyres, Amul and few government organisations, including Punjab Police and Gujarat Police.
Trishneet had also written a book, The Hacking Era. This book was published in 2013. Trishneet belongs to a middle class family. He father is a government officer and mother is a homemaker. His parents have said that we knew Trishneet could make a future in the hacking world. But, we have never imagined that he would be a first-generation entrepreneur and he will be having his name in Forbes’ list.
