Manipur Pradesh Congress committee reportedly threatened the BJP government to elucidate the case of the land of Manipur which has been recently announced to be of Myanmar. Khumukcham Joykishan, the spokesperson of MPCC raise a query to the central government i.e., on what basis did the BJP government has given the Manipur’s belonging to Myanmar. He added that Kiren Rjiju, the Union home minister of Manipur asserted that the Manipur’s land has been given to Myanmar as there is no border combat reported between Myanmar and India in the history.
One of the six MLAs named Joykishan recently visited Kwatha Khunou and spotted the border pillar of Myanmar in Indian Territory. The entire team of MLA’s along with Joykishan went to the district and confirmed the news form the villagers residing there. They further added that the villagers were well-acquainted with Myanmar’s pillar and India’s pillar.
As per the Rijiju’s statement, it is obvious that the pillar has been altered by the individuals of Myanmar with the approval of BJP government of India.
China getting close to Myanmar is indeed a very threatening news for Indian central government. There is no doubt to say that the land of Manipur was utilized and given away to please Myanmar, reported Joykishan.
