On Monday, Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, 93, was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.
Union health minister JP Nadda shared with the press that Mr. Vajpayee was at the hospital for regular examination. He is currently stable and under the good care of a team of doctors.
The Prime Minister’s Office also tweeted, “PM @narendramodi visited former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at AIIMS today. He was at AIIMS for about 50 minutes…The Prime Minister interacted with family members of Shri Vajpayee. He also spoke to doctors and enquired about the health of Shri Vajpayee.”
Rahul Gandhi has also visited AIIM to meet Vajpayee in the afternoon. Vajpayee’s former colleagues, senior BJP leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi and home minister Rajnath Singh also visited the hospital.
