On Tuesday, Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested one office attendant in the transport department in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He has been arrested for allegedly having Rs 90 crore assets.
ACB officials have done raids on various places and also at the residence of Karadu Narasimha Reddy. Reddy is an attender in the office of the deputy transport commissioner.
Reddy was in the same post for the last 34 years and managing to avoid transfers as he didn’t want to lose the channels of collecting bribes.
Reddy has revealed that he is the owner of 18 flats in Nellore and also of 50.36 acres of agricultural land. The team has recovered gold ornaments weighing nearly 2kg, huge quantity of silver idols and utensils weighing 7kg from his house.
