AGRA: One of the seven wonders in world Taj Mahal is supposed to undergo a colour test in wake of a petition filed in May by MC Mehta. The ministry of culture and environment will call experts to examine the change in colour of this historical monument.
According to the petition filed in supreme court on May 1, the colour of taj mahal has changed from white to yellow to brown now and the government has done nothing in this regard.
Taj Mahal is designed and structured by one of the famous Mughal king Shahjahan to commemorate his most beloved spouse Mumtaaz. The monument is said to be constructed in between 1632 to 1653. In recent year the government has ignored the change in colour that taj mahal has undergone.
After the apex court reprimanded the government about the issue the minister of culture and environment, the government of India, Mahesh Sharma has promised to conduct a scientific study on the change in colour of this historical monument and reasons behind it.
