The prematurely born baby girl of a rape survivor in Senapati district is now out of danger. She was only 33 weeks weighing 1.6 Kg. when she was admitted at 3-NICU, JNIMS Hospital, Imphal on May 29.
As a result of sincere interest from minister Nemcha in this case, a team of MCPCR visited and inquired about the condition of the baby and met medical superintendent to save the baby by any means.
This baby girl was rescued by a combined team of Dr. Komuha Jajuo, Valleynica from Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Senapati, Chingpai from DCPO Senapati and Robin Raomai, president, CCM including his staff.
After signing the deed of surrendered from the minor girl (the baby mother) and her parents, the baby was handed over to her new home at Compassionate Children Ministries (CCM), a children care institute as well as adoption centre in Kathikho Senapati district.
