The heartthrob of millions, Bollywood’s gold star, Salman Khan is now just a Qaidi No. 106 for everyone at the Jodhpur Central Jail. Like others, he was also served simple dal roti in his dinner. However, Salman denied eating that food.
Yesterday, he was sentenced for being in 5 years prison and a fine of ten thousand rupees. This sentenced was given in the case of killing blackbuck about 20 years ago. After the court decision, police arrested him and brought him to the Jodhpur Central Jail. He has been kept in ward number 2 which is adjacent to the cell of Asaram Bapu.
Jail superintendent Vikram Singh shared with the Press that Salman Khan will have similar treatment of a normal prisoner. For us, he is just a prisoner and no special treatment will be given to this Bollywood hero. Khan will get a simple wooden bed, rug and cooler in his cell.
Regarding his first night in the jail, Sing told that we served him normal diet like Dal chapatti and morning food will be of khichdi. This is simply the regular diet chart for all the prisoners.
However, there are reports from sources, Khan denied to eat the jail food.
Jail superintendent Vikram Singh also said that Salman was having some blood pressure issue. We brought him to the doctor of the prison dispensary too. Now, blood pressure is normal. There is no health concern.
 
Few months ago, a local gangster had declared that he would kill Salman in Jodhpur. When media asked question about this reported threat, Jail superintendent told that Jail administration is thinking about keeping him with some other prisoners so that he will never be left alone. Considering this threat, Jail administration will sincerely keep eyes on activities around him.
