Yesterday, Educational Helpline for Manipuri Diaspora was formed. EHMD is here to help Manipuri student in continuing higher studies. This will be helpful for students starting from class XI to post graduate level.
 Ashok Salam who is the General Secretary of this organization has also released a Press Release in this regard. According to this press release, a new Facebook page named as Educational Helpline for Manipuri Diaspora has also been open. Now, anyone who is not residing in Manipur state but interested in studying in Manipur can also contact using this FB page for all sorts of information. Here is the link of this facebook page.

This initiative of assisting Manipuri Diaspora was taken with a motive of building a better relationship with Manipuris especially those who are inhabited at other states of India particularly at the north eastern region.
The statement given in this Press Release also stated that besides offering an educational helpline, this organization, Educational Helpline for Manipuri Diaspora, will also provide financial assistance if required.
