Another addition in the achievement list of Manipuri girls has come in form of Chongdeinem’s achievement in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations 2018. She has topped in commerce stream under Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE).
Chongdeinem Guite from Kangpokpi district was studying in Shillong. She has topped in commerce stream by securing 443 marks. Chongdeinem’s parents have said, “We have sent our child solely because of the frequent strikes which always disrupted the educational atmosphere of the state.”
However, they are also hoping that state government will gladly acknowledge their daughter’s contribution towards the state’s pride and dignity. Meanwhile, Kangpokpi Youth Union expressed their heartiest congratulations on her success.
Chongdeinem has said that studying and revision on a daily basis is one important key factor for a student to succeed in any exams. She used to spend two to three hours studying on a daily basis in her preparation for the exam.
