In the four-nation Under-16 Tournament held in Serbia, Indian boys have outplayed Tajikistan by 4-2 and became the champions of this Under-16 Tournament. They took the lead by putting 3 goals in first ten minutes of the game. In the fifth minute, Gibson lobbed the ball over the opposing custodian. Two minutes later, Sailo took advantage and doubled the lead.
India tripled their lead in the ninth minute when Shabaj slotted the ball home.
Tajikistan started to fight back in the 12th minute and pulled a goal back as the profit of the penalty kick. In the 15th minute, Tajikistan found the Indian net once again.
Till the 65th minute of the game, scorecard read was 3-2. Then, Ricky’s through ball found Rohit Danu and the latter bundled the ball home to give India a two-goal lead.
