Today, Former chief minister and Manipur Congress legislature leader, Okram Ibobi Singh along with a delegation of Congress MLAs will meet Manipur Governor. He will again put the claim to form the government in Manipur.
Talking with Media, Okram Ibobi Singh said, “We will explain how the Congress party was denied to form the government despite being the largest party while putting forward the present development in Karnataka,” “We will stake a claim.”
Okram Ibobi Singh condemned Karnataka Governor Valabhai Vala’s act of inviting BS Yeddyurappa to form the government and administering him the oath of office.
He further added that Manipur Governor should apply the same principle if Karnataka Governor is right. After all, there is only one law in the entire country. Being the largest party in Manipur, we had claimed to form the government. Governor has also given assurance too. But, the opportunity was given to BJP.
Yesterday, The AICC has instructed all its state units to arrange protest march and organize “Save Democracy Day” on 18th May.
