Eight men in a village were recently arrested for allegedly raping a goat. That animal died after the assault.
Disgusted at the heinous crime, actor John Abraham said, “I am appalled. Being an Indian, I say women and animals are not safe in our country. Capital punishment is the only way forward. Nothing else will work with the sick men in our country. For me, my religion is being good to all living beings. These guys should be given capital punishment – simple.”
Actor Farhan Akhtar also tweeted: “Women and children living in fear of the Indian man’s power politics and sexual perversion were not enough… now goats and dogs will too. Something has gone seriously wrong in our evolution and our education. Where’s the light at the end of this tunnel?”
