Recently, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has allocated to the category of Civilian Terrorists Victims. One statement signed by undersecretary to GOI, Niraj Singh and addressed to the chief secretaries of all states, union territories and administration of union territories, informed about this allocation.
Out of these 4 seats, two seats will be allotted at Government Medical College, Ambikar Chattisgarh while one seat each will be allotted at A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya, Bihar; and Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala.
However, this will be done on priority basis. Priority –I will be for children whose both parents have been killed. Priority-II will for children of a family whose sole bread earner has been killed by terrorists. Priority-III will be for wards of victims with permanent disability and serious injury caused by terrorist operations.
