The central Government has released sufficient fund of Rs 9 crore for setting up dairy farms in the scheduled caste-inhabited areas of Andro and Sekmai in Bishnupur district.
Member of legislative assembly from the Andro constituency, Th Shyamkumar shared this information with local media. Th Shyamkumar who is also the Forest and environment minister told Press that Centre has also planning funds for piggery farming in Andro under the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan.  A fund of Rs 4.75 crore for the development of Andro High School and another Rs 25 crore has also been sanctioned.
Minister Shyamkumar also added that a tree plantation drive will soon be started in Andro during the ‘Go to the Village’ mission and this will possibly be started in next month.
