On Thursday, Delhi Police busted an Aadhaar card racket in North Delhi’s Shastri Nagar. Police arrested Vikash Kumar and his associate as Sushil Kumar in the case. Police also recovered fake stamps of the district magistrate, fake affidavits, 461 Aadhaar cards and biometric systems.
Their office was having a signboard that mentioned, “Government Authorised Centre of Aadhaar Card”.
Commissioner of police (north) Vinit Kumar told that Vikas and his associate was working for a private firm authorized for Aadhaar cards work by the government. They were having an understanding of software, user id and password for generating Aadhaar Cards. From this office, they were using the same user id and password to generate fake cards.
