One girl student from Victory High School, Kakching has gone missing. The headmaster of this school told that this girl is missing since the night of February 5. He urged concerned authorities and the public to give their help in the ongoing search for this girl.
Today, Kshetrimayum Ranjan Singh arranged a press meet at Manipur Press Club. Headmaster said that Tombi Khanam, 13 year old student of his school is missing and her disappearance from campus was noticed in the next morning during the checking hour.  She is a student of class IX from Keirao Makting Makha Leikai, Imphal East. She used to reside in Elite Children Home in the campus of the school.  School and her family have filed a missing report at Kakching police station.
Kshetrimayum Ranjan Singh further added that this girl is in a relationship with one Md. Nazir alias Nazir Ahmed, 23, of the same Keirao colony. He also used to stay in the same hostel of the girl in ground floor. On February 2, this boy was also caught by the concerned authorities while entering inside girl’s dormitory.  This is prohibited. No one can enter girl’s dormitory without having the permission of the warden. Thus, we counted this act as a major incident and called respective parents for the purpose of meeting to share brief about this incident.
The headmaster also stated that there were no other untoward encounters with these two students beside it. Nazir is also missing since the same night. The school authorities asked police as well as pubic for giving their support in finding the innocent girl misguided by her influencers.
However, Police is working hard to bring back this girl to the concerned family. For interrogation purpose, police has kept the elder brother of Nazir in police custody.
