Yesterday, Supreme Court clarified that it had never ordered for compulsory linking of mobile numbers with Aadhaar. The government had misinterpreted last observation statement. A bench of Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justices A K Sikri, A M Khanwilkar and Chief Justice Dipak Misra was hearing on this case. Justice D Y Chandrachud said that Union
